Less is fine.. But more bookmarks are cooler!!

Add, Organize, and Share Unlimited Bookmarks across all browsers

Having a myriad of apps on your phone or a gazillion bookmarks that you’d never visit after once can be frustrating.

Some “OG influencers” ride on that frustration by preaching less is always the best (You ain’t my mom, virtual being!!)

Keeping a tab on the numerous sites you have visited can help you pick up where you left off. That too, with a single click on the icon.

Ideally, visual bookmarks are a no-brainer compared to the ones you forget to see.

Introducing Superdense

Superdense is a compact storehouse for your bookmarks, replacing the conventional way of finding (forgetting too) them for your use.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Compactly save, organize, categorize, share your bookmarks.
  • Alternative to: Raindrop, Dropmark
  • Custom designing of bookmark icons
  • Best suited for: You :)

Instead of cramming your bookmarks on the bookmarks bar, Superdense gives you enormous space to save your bookmarks with easy icon identifiers, and less text/no text at all.

Create your Superdense account, and you are off to the races to add and organize your stream of bookmarks.

On the homepage, you can tap ‘+’ to name categories of your bookmarks you would include. Oh! And emojis too.

Add bookmarks according to your liking and categorize them as much as you can.

At the bottom right of the page, tap the edit option to unravel how you can add, delete, drag and drop bookmarks wherever you please.

As a business owner, sharing links/resources with your team keeps them informed of where you are headed. Send email invitations to your team to grant access and your team gets a piece of your pie.

Your profile is yours to own and update your hobbies and interests. Seems like a cakewalk, right? It is!

Add your webpage in your profile and click update. And there, you have something for people to know about you.

Tools like this don’t often come to our attention. Even if they do, it’s highly doubtful that your pockets won’t burn before you spend it.

Purchasing Superdense at your expense can cost you a chunk of your monthly operating budget.

Our lifetime deals can last you till the finish line and even beyond that, starting at $25.

And you can onboard your whole team (up to 100 team members) for just $125/one-time today.

Hello GenieUses, it's with great joy that we bring you this deal! 🔥🎉

You may be asking yourself: “another bookmark manager?”. Almost 20 years after the launch of del.icio.us - the most famous bookmark tool to date - we bring you Superdense: the minimalist bookmark manager for web junkies, saas lovers, and digital nomads.

Superdense means "of extremely great density and highly compact." That's precisely what we had in mind when building this tool that helps you manage your web favorites. Superdense is no bookmark manager in the “oldskool” kind of way - as there are 99 tools available to store your long list of web URLs.

(You know, the ones that you swore to yourself you will read soon but had them drown among the hundreds if not thousands of deep links that are likely to suffer the same unfortunate destiny ...)

Superdense is unique in that it's optimized to display as many bookmarks as possible in the least amount of space by focusing on one key element: ✨ favicons ✨. If you're a bit like me, you probably have 20+ tabs open before you finish your first coffee in the morning. How do you know what browser tab to click? That's right - the favicon.

We created Superdense to overcome the limitations of the bookmarks bar, like only displaying a single row of links. With Superdense, you can create multiple categories, add unlimited bookmarks, drag and drop to have the icons in your preferred order and be ready to make it another wonderful day with all your favs at the click of a button.

It’s no problem to store like 200 bookmarks and have them all above the fold. 🤩 Don't mind a little scrolling? Just keep adding categories and bookmarks - as many as you want.

SuperDense, but not complicated

I waited a bit before leaving a review to give myself some needed time with the service

Pros:

• Quickly categorize and access bookmarks for related tasks

• Can help reduce tab bloat

• Can help with defining processes based on online services — ie. - Monthly account payable related links all grouped into a single section

• Simplicity - Very few settings to help you stay on track

Cons:

• If you are relying on these links, then being online and latency could be a factor

• CSS Template is a neat approach to modifying the UI, but it creates a barrier for user

• The lack of settings related to accessibility, like text and icon size

Some suggestions;

• Feedback & roadmap system

• Allow users to submit CSS templates

• Analytics, either simple badges on each icon to show launches or a backend page that breaks down launches, last visited, date added, along with team specific analytics for individuals or groups

Overall, a great concept with a lot of potential. I’m excited to see how this service develops

Thanks for your great review and suggestions @Farhan 💪The roadmap, including a feedback form for feature requests is at https://roadmap.superdense.com/

And you certainly have a point on UX for templates and text/icon sizes, this will absolutely improve over time. For the early phase of the service, our priority is to build a strong fundament for future improvements and therefor some choices are made that are far from perfect, but that we consider 'just sufficient' for the web savvy audience that we built Superdense for. And the support and adoption from the Saas Mantra community is really great for us to collect feedback and grow. 😊

Loving this tool

I love the compact nature of superdense. A different kind of bookmark manager that helps you see lots of bookmarks above the fold even without scrolling. Great idea and I’m loving it so far.

Just what I needed indeed !!!

What a headache I had prior to coming across this tool, I've tried bookmark managers and so forth but they all seem to get lost amongst the so many, it's like looking for needles in hay stack, this tool removes the hay and reveals the needles!

I love it!

And I'm sure you will too!

On to a good start :-D

Very good, alredy,

Would hope for 3 SUPER performance elements, could be added:

1. a "Stop over"/"BUCKET" - category/ folder, where all the imported bookmarks go into, and from here you can drag them to your SuperDense hierarchy..

2. A label element (could be as easy as 7-9 color dots, like in Apples finder/windows os) So you can just "right click" the new imported booksmarks" and chose the "right category" (each dot or label "match" a category in SuperDense) it should go into. - The rest can stay in the bucket (for later deletion, when you feel you have gotten the right ones sorted, exported and ordered).

3. If a label could be added - then you would be able to have several both figurative speaking "horizontal & vertical" "links" (Horizontal= area, Vertical= Project) to a bookmark/ collections of bookmarks (in an easy and overview-able manner).

(sometimes I go deep in, and fast, 10-15 sec per search - bookmarking 100-200 sites, would be good to be able to ad a super short note ex. 5-10 keywords & a 50x50pix screenshot (from the part of the site that is interesting) so it shows up -making going trough it later a breeze.

you know, you can when adding a bookmark to SuperDense - at the same time add it to ex. both a Project - AND TO - a topic catogory, say the website bookmark you want to add to SuperDense is important to both a given Project you are working on right now that ex. got a website as part of it...

AND - it will also be important for other Projects that includes websites - so when adding it to SuperDense, you can add it to both two or more categories... (Instead of "manually" adding a link to several categories/ folders, - ther's only one place where the actual bookmark url is, and then theres a ref. label/link to it form the different categories. (so if you change the url, all "labels"linking to it will work)...

Superdense makes Bookmarking dope!

To be frank, I think Superdense is an ESSENTIAL add-on to your existing bookmark managers (raindrop, qlearly.. or even browser ones) rather than a replacement and it is best suited for linking sites which you visit frequently.

UI/UX

The UI is neat and the color combos & designs used are perfect! Navigation through the dashboard and adding sites is simple and intuitive. The interface is well optimized for phone resolutions as well., +1 for the mobile app!

Features

-Icon Bookmarking : Your mind recognizes the images (here, favicons) faster than text, and this makes SD a quick, effective and simple way to access your sites without clutter. It has support for adding custom icons as well.

-Sharing : Almost 100% of users of this tool would love the simple sharing process and the landing page share is a nifty feature.

-Organizing : Drag and Drop feature is smooth and you can organize the bookmarks into different categories. Custom CSS is supported as well.. Waiting on that multi-column support :)

Things that I would love to see implemented soon (already on the road-map)

-Web extensions / Mobile Apps : I get the advantages of Superdense being a PWA., however these would add a lot to the feature list..

-Search : In case you forget your favorite favicon..

It's very rare to see good productivity tools like Superdense on LTD and for this price, its a MUST BUY. (no fomo, just value)..

Instead of relying just on an icon, can we add a short description next to it? It would start to get a bit confusing without a line of what the link is for.

How does team collaboration work? Can you grant access to certain categories or groups of categories to certain team members?

Thanks!

Hi @Marcus 👋

@description: The philosophy behind Superdense is that a picture says more than words. Adding text would mean fewer bookmarks. And we want to provide you with a compact page with all links you visit the most frequently, assuming you'll know what favicon is which site in no time. 😊 And in case you do need a some assistance - try our newly added Search option by pressing the "/" see https://help.superdense.com/article/28/search-find-bookmarks

@team: Team functionality means you can have one subscription with an individual page/account for each team member. Forms of collaboration (e.g. one or more shared categories) are being considered but not yet on our roadmap. You can upvote here: https://roadmap.superdense.com/b/kvjrqw0e/feature-requests/shared-categories

@Steve: I am not agree with you, icon with text definitely help when you have bunch bookmarks on same site like this https://d.pr/i/uWr1od

one of my everyday task is managing multiple ad account, with Qlearly (I like it but founder sucks!) I can easily manage with add text on each items

ad account 1

ad account 2

ad account 3

ad account 4

how your only icon bookmark like simplified linktree will fit my use case?

Clap You must login to Clap

man-user

Steve

3 years ago  Founder

@tooman: It's correct that multiple links from the same site and thus with the same icon can be confusing. There are a couple of solutions for this:

1. Use the search: https://help.superdense.com/article/28/search-find-bookmarks

2. Separate them into different categories

3. Customize the icon

The screenshot you show is how all other bookmark managers in the world will handle and display that, so you may want to consider alternatives like Raindrop as well. But Superdense is the only solution to show tens or even hundreds of your most used links on a single page without scrolling, to act as a cross-browser bookmarks bar replacement for quick access. That is our main focus. There is no single tool for a wide variety of solutions but it's our goal and drive to make Superdense one of favorites.

SUGGESTION: G'day Steve, not sure if you're planning new features, but what I would love to see be implemented is the ability to add "Catergories" across a top menu of the page and Sub catergories panel either on left side or right side chosen by the user settings.

This will be of great value for everyone...

Reason is I didn't realise I had 18,876 bookmarks until I had installed a free sidepanel bookmark extension...

Here's another idea, what about inclding bookmark counters on every catergory and a master total across the top....

Another feature would be the ability to identify duplicate links also would be of benefit.

Implementing the above will make a great product greater! And will definately be looking at the whitelabel more seriously!

Let me know your thoughts and other verified users are encouraged to comment on my suggestions and recommendations expressed by me.

Hi @icwizards thanks for your time to share your suggestions 👍We are certainly planning new features as you can see on our roadmap. 😊

We have quite a strong philosophy on why and how we want Superdense to be a very compact bookmark manager for minimalists, with a focus on links you use on a regular base. I'm pretty sure that 18k bookmarks doesn't meet that criteria 😆

You can upvote the request for subcategories on our roadmap pages, and we will certainly consider, but I can't promise we will add it. For now, our priorities are multiple columns, search, dark/light mode and a Chrome extension. After that, we evaluate what to build next. Thanks again & have a great weekend 👋

Gotta disappoint you here @John Superdense is intentionally “icons only” to show as much bookmarks as possible for daily/weekly use.

To make them bigger, zoom in in your browser or use a little custom css, example here: https://help.superdense.com/article/20/bigger-or-smaller-icons

Looks like you can use the public profile page as a startup page for your browser. It would be nice to have a tooltip for each icon - a short description of the URL. If you have various productivity SAASs, it can be a headache to rely on the icons along. Some productivity SAASs can be for collaboration, time tracking, notes taking etc.

Hey @Andy thanks for your suggestion. We use HTML title tags for the icons which are like a basic version of tooltips. (The response time of the first hover is a bit slower, but each next one is almost instantly) A searchbar is coming soon, that may also help identify when you're not sure about the icon. But feel free to add/upvote on the Feature Request list at https://roadmap.superdense.com 👍

Hi @Diane: the essence of Superdense - in contrast to all other bookmarks managers - is that we display icons only for quick access. And by keeping it compact, it's possible to show as much bookmarks as possible, which would not be possible by displaying cards and/or titles. Other bookmark managers like Raindrop do show cards and previews, but are, in our view, not suitable as a replacement or extension of a bookmark bar to access the sites you visit the most.

A search option is also in development, to make it easier to find the right one if you have a very large number of bookmarks on your Superdense page. Hope this provides clarity!

Hey @Diane not sure if I understand your "open all" request, as all bookmarks are always shown (in other words, there is no close). Icon resizing follows browser zoom for now [1], but we're considering a setting for this as well. And you can resize the column with Theme settings [2] but we also have multi-columns on the roadmap [3] to optimize full-page usage. Hope this answered all 😊

Hi @Marc The hover uses standard HTML titles and is currently browser dependent, as is the delay, so we cannot change that in the current setup.
