Great deal

Momento looks polished, it has a great UI. And it works well.

One thing that's still missing is the ability to set default sorting on the domains page to the expiration date.

It would also be great to be able to set a custom message/white-labelling for notifications.

Overall, I highly recommend it.

You won't realise the importance of such a tool unless you lose a valuable domain.

Here's my updated review:

Over a period I have collected domains from various providers. Godaddy, cf, internets, porkbun, name cheap to name a few.

And, realistically it is not possible to log in on each of them to track my domain expiry, etc. This is where this awesome tool comes in. Adding your domain is super easy, support is responsive, and I immediately added my scattered domains into one platform.

@Tim: Honestly, it is really cheap, but I don't understand the need for such a tool... All my domains are now on Namecheap (previously Netfirms) and are set to automatically renew... and even for those who are not (ex: if I don't renew), I receive an email before it expires (or is renewed)... So, it has never happened that I would miss a renewal... Hence, why this tool...?

I love it! Clean dashboard!

I got my birthday gift from saasmantra and plan to tried only one code.

After I connect to my registrar, namecheap with api access, it is easily get data for all my domain.

Clean interface and I can monitor my domain better then using namecheap itself.

So I bought another 2 codes. 500 domain is more than enough!

A pretty nice tool fulfilling a vital need

Dealing with domains is always a mess. You can deal with them with Excel or a custom database but can't count on notifications or better reminders (to do list apps ?). And there comes Momento.

I went with 5 codes at once, the investment being reasonable and, for the moment, with no regret with a 2000 domains limit which look plenty enough.

Adding domains was at first not working. I thought it was coming from the domain broker not being listed but it seems it was just a question of setting the customer, or some server downtime for that function. I didn't inquire more.

Anyway, it worked flawlessly and added 50 domains quite easily with registrars recognized at once for the ones listed by Momento.

Among the things that could be improved quite easily :

- Sorting out the different columns, especially the expiration date

- Customer field sorted in alphabetic order when setting a new domain

- Some style for soon to expire domains

- Being able to set the notifications messages

- Some bugs ? on the dashboard, i got "1 expiring domain", but the column that should list them is empty

Otherwise, I've yet to try the API access and i see nothing else to say for an excellent service worth every penny.

2. I have 1 client who has 3 employees who manage 2 domains. How do I create a team and then select 2 domains and all three employees should be notified

3. I want to assign all domains of the team to multiple customers (i.e There should be assignment to multiple) at the same time.

Customer portal it's currently in beta and we're working on it to give more features.

We'll release soon the possibility to assign more roles and permissions on domains. Also we'll add the possibility to whitelabel notifications using your own mail system/service.

Actually status page it's not on our close roadmap.

Can this monitor subdomains as well, or just the root domain? If so, do I have to connect each subdomain, or would they automatically be monitored when I link the root domain?

Sub-domains reference to the root domain for the expiration date. But we will support subdomains for other features soon!

Hi Luca, I had max stacked previously and have been using Momento for a while, so far I’m pretty pleased with it, however I have 3 feature suggestions:

1. Please add either folders or workspaces that can be restricted to specific team users’ view/ edit.

2. Please add tags for faster unified search and to declutter the dashboard.

3. Please consider adding live chat/ ticketing system (Intercom) in the webapp as it’s quite annoying to reach support only via email.

P.S. If you can share the roadmap link, it’d be great.

We're currently working to give the possibility to filter/group domains in "workspaces".

About ticketing/live chat: right now email it's the best solution to us, but we're considering to add a live chat.

Just for info, I strongly discourage using internet.bs. The api connection didn't work with momento for me.

My main domain reseller don't offer api for less than 500 domains... Which make momento useless at this time.

Aruba Business, Cloudflare, Dynadot, Gandi, GoDaddy, Internet.BS, Namecheap, Namesilo, Porkbun

You can still actually manually add your domains from all your registrars

Of course, no API would be available, but that would allow me to monitor all my domains in one place.

Yes of course. You can all your domains even if they're not with the same registrars we currently support via API. Momento will automatically detect all informations and add them for you!
